The process is layed out very nicely right there:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...amp;page=k1flow

I suggest you to follow all links in this flowchart and study it very carefully, but pay you special attention to this one:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;page=k1guide

Scroll down below and your will see exact list of what you, as a petitioner, should provide after NOA2 would arrived to move to the next step in flowchart without much problem.

As per the embassy discussion, I found this thread to be very nice source of information:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showforum=6

Best of luck to you :)

The more time passes, more I start to envy guys who applied to VSC... The irony of the situation is that when I started to fill out petition package, I was very happy that I shouldn't send it to VSC - it was so slow at that time. Now VSC is a month ahead of us. *sigh*

Don't worry, CSC is going to catch up with VSC in no time--at current speed, this is going to happen tomorrow... :crying:

VSC has slowed down drastically in recent weeks, while CSC is also slowing down albeit slower deceleration. I was hoping it was because the holiday last week, but now it seems the slow down is broadbase, all I-129F. My NOA1 is 10/7 and I have not hear anything since. A few 10/6 NOA1 advanced to NVC.

Oh well...

change that to 19 days behind schedule, it's really moving fast.... in reverse. Keeping an eye on the timeline is really depressing, think it's better to ignore.

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between January 26, 2010 and February 2, 2010*.

A 14 day change for the worse!! Ugh ... that wasn't a very fun thing to find this morning. And it will probably just get worse with the impending holidays. :crying:

Do not get too upset, guys. I think, I saw this picture once, in September, already. It slowed down, almost stopped first; my timeline run away from me by good month. But then end of the month came, whole bunch of petitions were reviewed over just few days and things started to look far better very quickly. It does look like pattern to me, even so there is not enough data to conclude it for sure, mathematically speaking. It does look like there is no fixed, very small number of workers, assigned to work on I-129F every day, but rather there is big group of workers which has different assignments throughout the month and I-129F is just one of them. That can explain why statistic behaves so strangely - jumps so high and then gets to complete stun. It could be just wishful thinking, but let's wait until the end of the month. Something tells me that we will see a feast again. :)

While your words are comforting to all of us, looking at the stats, there really isn't a any pattern other then "hot and cold" and "feast or famine"

I agree completely. Dwelling on the timeline just serves to drive most people up a wall. Better that we all find something to keep our minds off of the fact that we're waiting!

That being said, what do you guys do to keep occupied during this crazy waiting period?

I find that my job is a wonderful distraction! Also, James and I have a nightly routine of Skype chatting when I get home from work, and lately we've taken to watching Japanese dramas together. All of this leaves me very little time to worry, and I feel a bit better :)

Our naturalization timeline
1/12/2015 - Application sent to Phoenix service center by USPS priority mail

1/14/2015 - Package received in Phoenix

1/16/2015 - NOA date (hard copy received 1/22)

1/20/2015 - Check cashed

2/09/2015 - Biometrics

2/11/2015 - In line for interview

3/28/2015 - Hard copy interview notice received

4/29/2015 - Interview at Chicago field office - Approved!!!

5/22/2015 - Oath ceremony - Now a US citizen!!!!!!

Thank you, VisaJourney!!!!!
