Correct Place of birth in Passport

*WARNING: IF YOU FAIL TO TAKE THE ACTION REQUESTED WITHIN ONE YEAR FOLLOWING VISA DENIAL UNDER SECTION 221(G) OF THE IMMIGRATION AND NATIONALITY ACT, SECTION 203(G) OF THE ACT REQUIRES THAT YOUR APPLICATION BE CANCELLED.

what is the mean??? anybody????

Is that mean i need to correct place of birth and got deny according by the first check mark.

You may want to post this out in the general section for K-1 fiance visa process and procedures section to see if anyone else got this kind of notice. Seems a little odd to have a passport with the wrong place of birth. What does your birth certificate say?

I have been waiting all week for the Montreal consulate to mail out my fiance's passport but still Canada post can't find the tracking number in its system. ARGH! They only send mail on Mondays through Friday's in Canada so it means the earliest it would be mailed out is on Monday, May 10. I just want my fiance' to have it in his hands. He hasn't told his boss yet that he is leaving permanently at the end of July. My fiance' is waiting until he has the visa in hand to do that. My fiance' did call his landlord though and give his 2 month notice that he is moving out of his apartment and that she can rerent it on July 1. I can't wait for Ron to say "I'm home!" and it means he will be in the U.S. for good (except visits of course once he has advanced parole!).

Congrats to everyone who's gotten their approvals!!!

Carl just sent his packet 3 out yesterday, so we're hoping to hear an interview date soon! I just spent the day with my cousin and her new husband who came over from England, and it made me so ready for this process to be over with! I can't wait to just be married to my man. Thanks so much for all of your help in all of this. I'm so greatfull to you all and this website. Without it, I would probably still have no idea how to go about getting the love of my life here.

Congrats to both Jessica&Carl and to Michael&Heidi! :D

Good luck next week - and happy mother's day for any mothers in here.

L got his visa Friday! We're going to wait til June to buy his tickets, I think. We're using my frequent flier miles for his tickets, so yay on that. He's going to end up going first class, because coach is considered peak and actually costs more miles than first class (which isn't peak)!

Ha! That's awesome! Wish I could fly Carl back first class. What card do you used to collect miles?? We've been thinking about doing the same, and are not sure what is the best way to go about it.

Ha, I don't have credit cards - I only had one, and when the credit crisis hit, they closed my account because I didn't buy much on it, and paid on time (silly thinking, they had no risk and consistent money coming from me), and even when I had one, I had opted out of the rewards program in exchange for a better interest rate. They're the actual miles I used flying to visit him in Brazil. I flew the same airline every trip (AA), and it's usually the cheapest airline for my primary airport, so it's one I frequently fly on to go elsewhere, too. :) I do have frequent flier miles with a few other airlines (United/Continental and AirTran), and many of the flights I take that aren't on those four airlines are partnered with one of them, so I'll get my miles applied that way.

My fiance's xpresspost envelope containing his passport and "do not open" immigration envelope with immigration documents is in the mail as of 10:18 a.m. this morning! Yeah! I can't wait for him to get it! Sixty two days until I get married! We have decided he will move here on July 1, 2010 just before our July 11, 2010 wedding. I was so stressed last week about the envelope not being in the mail. Now it is on its way! Yeah!

Yippee Carla (lilacvioletiris)!!

My guy leaves Vancouver some time tomorrow. Not sure exactly what time he is "planning" to do the whole POE thing. I'm still going to be on pins and needles until I get that call that says "Just crossed the border, have my I-94 in hand, and I'm on my way to Seattle and then the rest of the 2500+ miles" !!! (L)

Hurry up, envelope! And congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

My fiance booked his one way plane ticket to the USA today! He'll be here on June 25th! Funny, a one way actually worked out to be cheaper than a round trip. Thanks, Aer Lingus!

Congrats, corcor! And yay for arriving visas, lilacvioletrose, and soon-to-be-arriving fiancés, Leenie! L WAS going to come on the 25th, but then he realized that Brazil's playing the World Cup that day and he implored to delay a day, so he's coming the 26th. :)
