Folder 9

CHEERS!

In my own opinion, you don't need to bring 50 pages of chat logs. I don't think the CO have time to read them all. Have a safe trip and good luck

I think you're very thorough, Leo, though I don't see the medical on the results -- is that something that isn't necessary in the PI? (In Brazil, you're responsible for scheduling your own medical and bringing the documents.) As well, Brazil also requires 2 passport photos and the DS 230 (pt 1), as any other US immigration stuff (eg, previous visa attempts), but I don't know if those are required for the PI and maybe were taken care of already.

I would agree with Chi Na that that many chat logs probably isn't necessary, but it's better to be over-prepared than under.

Hey Chi Na, are you still waiting for your NOA2? You or your fiancé(e) should probably poke the CSC officers -- while it hasn't yeeeeeet been 5 months, you're getting close.

Gary, any word about Cecilia?

hello to all my dearest fellow octoberians.!!!I just want to thank everyone here for all your prayers. That was a very traumatic accident and I praise God for saving my life. I was admitted at the hospital march 2 and had an operation on my right face since i have 2 cuts (one cut was so deep). i almost saw what was inside ..huhuhu i was crying and i panic when i saw my face on the mirror after the accident then keep on saying to the people behind me to take me to the hospital coz the blood keeps on going out. I had also a small cut just very near to my eyes. Still thankful that it didnt hit my eyes. I have a big bruise on my right leg, i feel relieved when the doctor said that no any bone fracture on my legs after they did the x-ray. The doctor gave me general anesthesia and i was asleep during the two hour operation. It was more than 30 sutures on my right face.

With regards to my interview, by God's grace im all set, prepared and ready for my flight to Manila tomorrow afternoon together with my brother. Help me pray for strength and wisdom during my interview.

Thank you very much Octoberians and esp. to my ever dearest Gary for always being there for me ( he was the first person i talked with right after the accident happened). I saw your sincerity and you've prove to me my sweetie Gary that you really love me when you saw me on web cam, and that nothing change your love to me amidst of my right face situation. I Love You gary always and forever!!!

Have a good day everyone and God Bless us!!! :)

First time posting here...

We filed the I129-F october 1st. NOA1 on october 5th. Touched on october 7th. No news since then. Is this normal?

My fiance called the immigration service number and they told her they're still processing september applicants and that we'll have to wait. Is there any truth to this?

And is there any course of action you can recommend?

Thanks in advance!

YES, this could be normal. There are still a few others that haven't gotten their NOA2 in our October group for California Service Center. But most of us have. It looks like 5 months for you given your NOA1 date of Oct. 5. You probably would do well to call your congressman and see if he/she can get things moving or at least tell you where in the process your petition is.

I just looked at your timeline. What exactly is your NOA1 date? The timeline says March 5, 2010, not October 5, 2009. You may want to edit your timeline for more accurate information.

Finally got the email notification today ( March 5).. although the USCIS status said my NOA2 was yesterday.

So after 133 days, I can stop holding my breath  thanks VJ. :star:

I think sending the USCIS CSC gentle nudge emails may have helped.

Here is an email I received yesterday from one of the officers :

Sorry for the confusion. USCIS electronic records indicate that your application/petition was filed on October 22, 2009 and is not currently within our processing time. We are currently processing cases filed five months in which they are received. March 22, 1020 will be your five months and the status of your case may be obtained online at https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard.do.

Thank you,

Officer Chito Agorrilla

Despite his typos, I regarded Chito's email as just another form letter slapped together to respond to the thousands of backpiled entries..

I had written them a month prior, which resulted in a touch to my status only. The lesson learned is that we have to give the USCIS a firm, but polite nudge once in a while. I think for petitioners who get left in the dust, we need to be proactive and put heat on these adjudicators..

Onwards to NVC, stage 2 >>>

Hi

can you please give me email address to USCIS that u sent?

Thank you,

Hello fellow Octoberians! Today we find out my baby's TB smear test results. In about 3 hours. We are praying for a negative result. Cecila, glad to hear that you are ok. It was aful to hear that you were in an accident. We have accepted the fact that it will be at least 2 months before we are together and if she has to do the 6 month TB treatment I'm sure there is a reason. Hope everything is going ok for everyone else.

Thanks Leolalit. Good luck with the interview! All 3 TB smear test came back negative. Based on what I've read chances are high that the sputum test will be negative too. Thanks to you all for your support and good luck. We will all get through this no matter what.

Here is the actual email I sent to them last week. I hope it gets you a touch at least if you write them !

Csc-NCSC-FollowUp@dhs.gov

I need clarification from the previous email from Officer Agorrilla.

>> " USCIS electronic records indicate that your application/petition was filed on October 22, 2009 and is not currently within our five processing time."

If the record is NOT in the five [ month?? ] processing time, then it must require a service request, as you mentioned in the email I quoted. It has been several months and I have heard nothing back from the USCIS. As a matter of fact, people I know have applied for the I-129F after me, but already been adjudicated.

Please let me know if there is further evidence required or information for me to provide to help process my I129F Fiancee form with USCIS. I have called the 1-800 NCSC hotline twice to speak with a customer agent. And am following up via email for a detailed response. I thank you for your time

Respectfully
