Hello my fellow octoberians!!!

I would like to Congratulate to all who got their NOA2"s...

Anyway, my fiance just called Manila embassy about an hour ago to set my inteview. My interview will be on March 10, 2010 at 7:00 AM.. yay!!!

Last week i booked my flight in going to manila and tomorrow afternoon will be leaving here in our town together with my brother.. Hope and pray for a successful medical exam...

Sweet idea K and L! Now we can watch as the interview dates come pouring in! I am hoping my fiance' will get his packet 3 this week from the Consulate in Montreal. They have had our paperwork for 2 weeks now. I am anticipating his packet 3 and all that it means for us with great expectation!

Try not to fret too too much Kalay. I just saw that some September CSC filers JUST got their NOA2's. They are still working over there, but on their own timelines/schedules/directions whatever the case may be

March 10 was our preference. You can tell them the date you want to set you interview and they will confirm you if it's available.. How's everything with your case? I saw your timeline and in a few days your case will be forwarded to Manila USEM. In our case, my fiance called 1 week after the Manila USEM received our case but then they told us to call back again after 1 week coz they only received the approved petition of our case electronically from NVC and they said they dont have the hard copy in hand yet.. I hope everything goes well with you visa journey too..

I'm all packed now and ready for my flight to manila this afternoon.. I hope St. Lukes will still accept applicants for medical even if it's past 3 pm.. If not i will do it tomorrow...

I blame my new French press - with the finely ground coffee I brought back from Brazil it's like a caffeine injection! (And I saw someone doing it in one of the other topics and thought, hey, that's an awesome way to see what's up, and it'll be great in April as we're looking at the sea of approvals and upcoming interviews!)

Anyway, I was snowed in yesterday and looks like I am today and maybe tomorrow as well. I take this to be a bonus wedding planning time - get 'er done, because after the interview, I'm crazy busy. I think I'm going to finish our registry, talk to some florists about doing color substitutions in a standard nosegay (freesia, hydrangea, roses) for our desired date, look for the silk flower hairpiece I want instead of a veil, play with announcement text, and talk with a friend of mine who does jewelry on etsy about a necklace.

Kalay based on this list there is 6 of us that haven't received our NOA2s. The same person must have all of our cases in some box. Hopefully we will all get our NOA2s soon. POSITIVE THINKING!!!

Hey, I got my NOA2 hardcopy in the mail, so when do I start calling the NVC? Why do I have to call the NVC it says on the NOA2 that they will send us a notification when they receive our case, so why do we have to call? I'm confused...

You don't "HAVE" to call NVC. They will send you a hard copy letter saying when they mailed out your package to your consulate. I called just because I wanted to know when they mailed my package so I could "guess when it arrived" based on the dhl.com website. You can wait. No big deal. Then wait for the consulate to contact you with packet 3 (if your consulate has one).
