Is it true that someone got an NOA2 approval for November 129F?

Probably, the majority of the October have gotten their NOA2s, and Igor's list shows more November updates than October.

Just got packet 3 from the embassy.. well, but more worry then excited about that So i need to send them back ds-230 form ( no problems about that) and the check list, and in this step i need a case number- so is it the same case number wich we got with noa1? that wacXXXXXXXXX ? Also is it really federal tax copies should be notarized? isnt imposible to sent original ones? Sorry, i dont really know how taxes stuff are in USA cuz we dont have it in lithuania, and my fiance is sleeping now, so i cant ask him why is it impossible to sent original ones instead of notarized copies Thank you for everything guys!! i dont know how we will make everything without yours help!!!

The case number is your NVC case number. I don't know the code for Lithuania, but in Brazil, they are like RDJ 20xx xxx xxx.

Anyway, if you don't have your NVC case number, you or your fiancé will need to call the 603-334-0700 number (as mentioned up thread). If they still have the press-1-for-haiti / 2-for-everything-else menu, press 3 to get an operator -- you'll need your WAC receipt number and the names and DOB. Your fiancé should be getting a letter from the NVC soon (if he hasn't already).

I'm really surprised they ask that the tax forms be notarized, as they're something you can produce yourself with photocopies or request from the IRS (unlike, say, marriage or divorce decrees, you don't have to get the government involved). This sounds like you should ask in your regional forum - Brazil doesn't care if it's a transcript or a photocopy, and doesn't care if it's notarized.

My question is, HOW do you get your tax forms notarized?

I have no clue, unless they want stamped tax transcripts. Notaries can't prove those were your taxes, just that you're the person on the tax sheet.

Personally, I ordered Tax Transcripts from IRS. It's as official as it gets, I think

AOS - Adjustment of Status. Your new husband/wife files for AOS after marriage to change their status to permanent resident (ie get a green card). This allows them to remain legally in the US.

EAD - Employment authorization document. Your new husband/wife needs this to work legally before the green card is received.

AP - Advanced parole. Your new husband/wife needs this to travel outside of the US before the green card is received.

Hi guys!

Congratulations to everyone who is on their way to the next stage of this crazy process.

is anyone else freaking out at not receiving any word at all on their status? no touch. nothin. it's been 3 and a half months and I am worried something may have happened to our file. I'm just being paranoid but has anyone tried to call to find out if their file is being tracked/handled? I know it's there I'm just getting antsy and worried.
