Oh wow, that's really cool! I have no desire whatsoever to go anywhere near that film, but maybe I can find a clip of him on YouTube :P

:D If John weren't in it, I can pretty much guarantee you that I wouldn't have paid to go see it last night and would have waited for the dollar theatre or it to come out on DVD. John and I were looking at clips tonight, but nothing other than the trailer so far.

I'm holding my breath. Went to sleep at the middle of the night yesterday, hoped, it would be an email. :) Hopefully, it would be a good news next week.

It's coming! I'm sure of it.

I find it so interesting that some get "touch" after "touch, some get only one "touch" when the NOA2 is issued, and others get no touches and all of a sudden approval shows up. Must be that those adjudicators that work from home bring back the ones that are approved and someone just enters a whole stack of approvals, other adjudicators work in the office (these are just assumptions/guesses)?

I received a gloriously PLAIN piece of paper in the mail from the United States Department of State National Visa Center that was postmarked Jan. 20, 2010 (makes me think that my package was more assuredly put in the Montreal package via DHL on Jan. 20). Except for the fact that it has my full name, first middle and last, it is so plain. It isn't like the "fancy" paper I received my NOA1 and NOA2 on. It has my Montreal case number on it so it is a LOVELY PIECE OF PAPER! One step closer to being with my love forever!

Yay for plain LOVELY pieces of paper :)

Oh oh, aaaannnnd today is our 2 year anniversary! Yay for us!!!!!! :dance:

1/8/08- Met at Disney world

05/08- He came to meet my family

6/08- I went back to CO and he went back to NI

08/4/08- Went to meet his family in Ireland

12/14/08- Gave up and moved to Ireland!!!

07/6/09- Tourist Visa ran out and I had to go back to the states

09/23/09- He came to visit and asked me to marry him! yay!

10/14/09- He went home :(

10/28/09- I-129F mailed

11/4/09- Check Cashed!!!

11/8/09- NOA1 Hard Copy received

2/2/10- NOA2 Email received!!!

2/8/10- NOA2 Hard Copy Received!!!!

2/22/10- Packet 3 received (kind of)

5/28/10- Packet 4 Recieved

6/29/10- Medical Passed!

6/30/10- Interview APPROVED!!!

It certainly does look like you are right. Take a look, for instance, at my example. I got touch on 22nd and was approved on 24th, but email I got from USCIS says:

On January 22, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E).

The same, as egov.uscis.gov states. The thing is, I checked egov1 million times over these two days, including like half of hour ago. So I'm absoutely sure - status on it just being changed, same time email was sent (20 minutes ago). All this certainly looks like somebody got a couple of petitions, on Friday (here is my touch goes), to work on them over the weekend; finished mine Friday night, and marked the NOA2 as being issued on this date and moved to the next petition (or to the bed :) ). And today he finally got done with all petitions he took, logged to UCSIS database and entered the data.

Thanks! Yes, looks a bit strange, I got touch on Friday, and so was my NOA2 marked by, but I got email today only and so was my status on egov.uscis.gov updated. So, go figure. Really looks like some people take their job home, to catch up with plan over the weekend.

Wow! Congratulations! That is great news! I think the whole "updating the database" is probably done remotely so maybe they did just log in and update it, on a Sunday of all things! Now on to the National Visa Center! Hope it gets through the NVC quickly and onto Russia!
