It is a small thing to do to know more about when I will get to be with my LOVE forever! One step closer. Now the petition is in Canada! That is worth all the phone calls in the world!

Yes, that would be very good, indeed. :) But so far I'm really starting to suspect that something in our case caused some extra round of checking, and so waiting for me and Sveta is going be much longer than we hoped. Really-really-really hope, it is not the case and they will respond with something (even with RFE) soon. Really-really-really hope.

and John can kill me later ... but I HAVE to brag! You see, my guy is a background actor, and has done so for many a year. Today, The Tooth Fairy came out, and John has a part in it! We weren't sure how "much" of his part would make it into the movie or if it would make it to the cutting room floor. I took my middle daughter and her friend to see the movie tonight and let me tell you guys ... the squealing that came from the three of us when we saw John on the screen AND saying his lines, that he ad libed entirely (no script!), was astronomical! AND he was listed in the credits at the end of the movie!

I am SO proud of my guy!!! :luv:

It is always good to have something HAPPY to talk about/see. That is so cool, Beth! Last night it was the excitement in the Canadian regional forum with a bunch of CR-1 folks getting their interview dates for March. That was exciting. I am just hoping my fiance' gets his packet 3 so we can send back the required documents to be put in line for a Montreal interview! I am anticipating marrying my fiance' more and more each day!

Yay, I'm happy you get to visit him! About your interview, I guess that depends on how prepared you are. But based on what I've read on the UK regional forum, London is moving pretty slow. Like, it takes them one month just to SCHEDULE an interview once they get your packet 3 stuff back

Oh wow, that's really cool! I have no desire whatsoever to go anywhere near that film, but maybe I can find a clip of him on YouTube :P

And also, congrats on your NOA2!!!!!:star::dance:

I received a gloriously PLAIN piece of paper in the mail from the United States Department of State National Visa Center that was postmarked Jan. 20, 2010 (makes me think that my package was more assuredly put in the Montreal package via DHL on Jan. 20). Except for the fact that it has my full name, first middle and last, it is so plain. It isn't like the "fancy" paper I received my NOA1 and NOA2 on. It has my Montreal case number on it so it is a LOVELY PIECE OF PAPER! One step closer to being with my love forever!

Thanks Leenie! I was just wondering if that might be a possibility, but it also may be a blessing in disguise as right now we're trying to get this to take as long as possible. (I know that sounds awful) but with all the set backs we've had. He just won't be ready in time. So if it takes that long, it's really okay.

See. I am capable of being positive....just doesn't happen very often...
