I can live with the wait it is the anxiety over getting the final approval that is killing me. Especially since I had only know my wife-2-be for only a few days. Met on Friday (& knew she was the one), said yes on Saturday, small engagement ceremony on Sunday, went sightseeing on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday, left on Thursday. That is what scares me most. But the good thing is there are family connections before hand, we talk 2-4 hours each day, & there are letters, cards, & birthday presents between us. So I have plenty of proof, but knowing the New Delhi embassy (not exactly there fault as there are lots of fraud cases there) I know they'll find a way to disregard all other proof & just

A relationship is a relationship, even if it was mostly over the phone, through mail, computer, etc before you met! I'm sure you guys will be just fine :thumbs:

1/12/2015 - Application sent to Phoenix service center by USPS priority mail

1/14/2015 - Package received in Phoenix

1/16/2015 - NOA date (hard copy received 1/22)

1/20/2015 - Check cashed

2/09/2015 - Biometrics

2/11/2015 - In line for interview

3/28/2015 - Hard copy interview notice received

4/29/2015 - Interview at Chicago field office - Approved!!!

5/22/2015 - Oath ceremony - Now a US citizen!!!!!!

We have just got NOA2 on 13Jan10. It is wonderful, but now I get stuck bc not know clearly what we should do next...

Hope all files in Oct09 can get NOA2 as soon as possible.

i was able to sign into my account and it show the last updated on 1/6/10.

and it has been for one week since i have touched...

I don't hear any news from since Jan. 6, 2010.

I am in the same boat as you. Maybe call the 1800 # and see if they have updates? I really want to believe that next week there will be a load of approvals with ours included!!

NOA1 on 10/7/09 and I received notice today that my NOA2 was approved on 01/12/2010. It took 97 days to process. Moving on.. :):dance:

NOA1 on 10/7/09 and I received notice today that my NOA2 was approved on 01/12/2010. It took 97 days to process. Moving on.. :):dance:

Congrats to all the new NOA2s! Aren't those emails the best: Approval notice sent!

I am going to call the NVC to see if my petition has gotten there yet! I hope it has and has gone on to the Montreal consulate.

Just a reminder for everyone as we jump through the National Visa Center hoop.

What you want to do is call NVC at (603) 334-0700 press 1 then 5. They will ask you the following:

Case#

Benificiary's date of birth and name

Petitioner's date of birth and name

Ask them if they have received your case and an estimate of when it will be forwarded to the Embassy of your fiance. Also ask for your NVC case#.

I would call NVC about a week after receiving your NOA2.
