Now that I have downloaded the new Adobe Acrobat Reader and CHINESE TRADITIONAL FONTS package I can finally read the I-864p.pdf file. Crazy. Took me 10 minutes just to get to the place where I can view it! Chinese Traditional Fonts? Why exactly do I need that to read this USCIS document? I guess I will never know!

Your NOA2's are coming! Each day brings you and your loved one closer to having the first approval in the process! Then on to NVC and the consulate of the country your loved one is in! Just a little while longer!

Mine has been over 3 months and have touched on Jan. 6, 2010....

From then, i have not heard of anything...

It was killing me....

Did you sign up for email and/or text alerts? Also, keep checking your mail box! I saw some people that received their NOA2's but never got an update on the USCIS website let alone a text or email. Good luck!!!

Sent mine on 10/6/2009, NOA1 on 10/8/2009, and just found out that it was approved on 1/12/2010. No text messages. Received email at Noon today. When I logged into my account it showed the update.

Hopefully other October filers will be getting there NOA2 soon.

Now I am onto the tougher part of the process, New Delhi embassy.

Congrats gs619! Yeah, it seems that the embassy will be the longer wait for me (although probably not as tough as the New Delhi embassy will be for you and your loved one). But we can be thankful for each forward step, right!

Great! Congratulations. Since my NOA1 was the same date as yours, that hopefully means my NOA2 is well on the way. I wish the best to you for the next phase of the process!

Thanks!

I can live with the wait it is the anxiety over getting the final approval that is killing me. Especially since I had only know my wife-2-be for only a few days. Met on Friday (& knew she was the one), said yes on Saturday, small engagement ceremony on Sunday, went sightseeing on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday, left on Thursday. That is what scares me most. But the good thing is there are family connections before hand, we talk 2-4 hours each day, & there are letters, cards, & birthday presents between us. So I have plenty of proof, but knowing the New Delhi embassy (not exactly there fault as there are lots of fraud cases there) I know they'll find a way to disregard all other proof & just focus on the negatives.

Congratulations on your NOA2! Gives me hope, since my NOA1 was on 10/7. Hopefully I'll get an approval soon. Good luck with the visa app process, I'm sure it'll go great!

Thanks!

You should be seeing your NOA2 soon, looking at everyone else's timelines the dates are all over the place. I guess it has to do with the which "desk" we get at the CSC & how much workload they have. Before getting mine I was a bit edgy.

UPDATE: It looks like they sent a text message @ 12:01 and email @ 12:00 today. So both digital notifications worked.
