WHOOO HOOO,

My faith in the internet and vj forums is restored!!!!! Recieved my NOA2 yesterday. Who is this Igor --- I love him!!!! Keep the faith for all those of you waiting for their NOA2.

Congrats thekatocat! So glad to hear you got NOA2 - must admit I was a little nervous about potential problems from Cuba, but it seems you're doing fine!

Wow, it is getting tough to keep up with all the posts in here some days! Too bad I can't check VJ at work

Hi guys,

Did anyone get this type of e-mail before getting an approval from CSC. I got this e-mail today. Please let me know what you all think. Thanks!

"Your case is currently being adjudicated. You should receive a notice of action* within 45 days.

That is a weird one. I didn't get anything like that, nor have I even HEARD of it. You might try asking about that in the K-1 Process and Procedures forum.

Just found out it's gonna cost 1000 plus dollars to fly my cat home. Don't think there's any way we can afford that so we're gonna have to get rid of him. I'm so tired of things not working out the way we want them to. I can't stop crying. This is all so stressful. I'm so tired...

Ugh, that is stressful. Get your good cry out now, and then check out the suggestions some of the other posters have made. Where there's a will, there's a way to keep your kitty, even if he/she has to live with someone else for a little while or stay behind. Don't give up until you've exhausted all your options!

Congratulations on your NOA2!!!!

I thought you guys might like to know - I called the NVC again about our case, and they said they received it yesterday and already mailed it out to the embassy in London today! That was fast! I was expecting our case to be at NVC for at least a few days. It's a glimmer of hope that things move MUCH faster after NOA2!

Our naturalization timeline

Congratulations thekatocat! Getting the NOA2 is exciting news! I have been telling anyone that has any inkling that I am going through the immigration process to get my fiance' here about the news since I got my NOA2! I can't wait to find out if my package has gotten to NVC and left to Montreal. I know there is a big backlog at the Montreal Consulate and the sooner it gets there, the better! I want to marry my fiance'!

If there's only the two of them, they would need to meet the 125% support level for 3 people (her, her husband, and the beneficiary), which I want to say is something like $22k.

Yep, and here is the 2009 Poverty Guidelines from USCIS, which I understand are supposed to be updated sometime this Spring (the levels should go down due to the economy, however we all know that the levels will go up  )
