OHHHH! I am so glad to see someone that had sent their application in October and got their NOA1 in October now has their NOA2.

Gives me hope! After reading yesterday through the length of time my fiance' will wait for an interview at the Montreal Consulate, I have been praying more fervently that our approval will be soon.

Leenie, your just 8 days before my fiance' and I so hopefully my timeline will predict our approval date as well. Could you update your timeline to help all of us still waiting to get a better prediction?

We met in person last January 6, and today was our "first anniversary." Wow, was I happy to see the on-line second NOA show up, approved Jan 5. It was a great anniversary gift from USCIS!!! But I sure wish the predicted wait to final visa wasn't another 70+ days for Brazilians. I am sure everyone on here feels like me, it is very frustrating waiting on someone to approve your being together when that is the most important thing you want.

Congratulations Leenie!! I was so excited to see your approval. Seriously though, lets hope your good luck rubs off on the rest of us. :)

Thank you! I'm trying my hardest to spread positive thoughts and good NOA2 luck to each and every one of you. I'm sure it shouldn't be long now until we are all jumping for joy with NOA2s in hand!!

Welcome to the party! Have a drink! To answer your question, I don't think the foreign fiance location makes a very big difference at the USCIS stage we are at right now, but I suppose no one can say so with certainty. Once you get to the foreign embassy/consulate stage, the location obviously makes a HUGE difference. Some embassies/consulates are slower, faster, stricter, etc.

Hey, congrats on your NOA2 AND your anniversary! You two must be on top of the moon right now! You may still have a bit of time to go at the embassy, but soon it will all seem like the waiting has only been a little, I'm sure!

*Trying to spread a bit more luck around if possible!!!*

:star: COME ONNNNNNN CSC give us tons of APPROVALS!!!!! :star::dance:

I really wonder how they decide which to do first. I wonder if it is by country or if they evenly distribute each days incoming applications. It seems so odd how one person later in the month gets approved first before someone who applied earlier in the month. I know there isn't really an answer but I was curious.
