Timeline

Im so glad someone started this thread.

I sent out the file for us 10/9 but, because of Columbus day my package did not reach the USCIS yet. Hopefull tomorrow I will get conformation via the USPS tracking service.

I met my fiance on a business trip to Manila July of 2008. And have been back several times for work and also just for us time.

Lets hope for a speedy approvals!! Maybe they will try to rush things out before the New Year, or there wil be so many days off during the holiday season it will take longer...GAHHHH ??!! haha, who knows......but we are ready for the wait and are staying optomistic. My patience is really wearing thin even though we last saw each other 3 months ago, My plan was to head back this month but my work is reaching its busy season and getting away for a few weeks is almost impossible until after X-mas. Vacation request submitted and approved for that time!!

Anyways, gogogo California!!!!!!!!!

Yay for October CSC filers!

How cool that you get to make business trips to the Phils! I wish my company would send me on business trips to the UK :D

When I first started lurking on VJ in January this year, California was the one pumping out approvals, and Vermont was lacking, so I'm sure we will have our chance sooner or later. It's just the ups and downs of things, I guess. My secret theory is that California is working hard on AOS packages right now. They seem to be processing those pretty fast!

>>>>this really got me ANGRY!!!...a notice was left in their P.O box?? what does this mean.....now I have to wait to get my package back after 15 days?? WTH!!?? more delays ARGGGGG!!!

I called USPS and FINALLY got through to someone that was breathing...according to them, there is no redelivery to P.O. boxes, all they said is they can send another slip in the P.O. box........from what I understand, the woman said that the postal carrier for that route will take the slip, find the packet and redeliver..im confused and I was a bit miffed so I couldnt really listen....why do I not believe this......anyone have any experience in this situation??

Yeah, just the two of us! Maybe there will be very few filers in October and so our petitions will be approved quicker! Haha, I wish.

I also registered on the USCIS website with my case number, but I haven't started refreshing compulsively ... yet :D I'm hoping for speedy approvals for us both, but I'm still thinking it's going to be a loooooooooong wait!
