I second the motion for the Oregon coast. :thumbs: Washington's southern coastal area is also very nice.

I would also suggest the Grand Canyon or Yellowstone.

Chinatown in San Francisco...the Golden Gate Bridge...Highway 1 up the California coast...Redwood National Park...Highway 101 up the Oregon coast...all the way up to Cape Flattery at the northwest tip of Washington's Olympic Peninsula...then on to Seattle...Vancouver...Victoria. :thumbs::yes:

Stay away from the snow? (Snow Bad ! )

Personally, I like driving across Texas, on I-10, stopping for meals at the local resturants. Bring some immodium AD and Pepto, though - if you'd not had tex mex food :D

Ah - you guys are in OKC? A nice 2 day outing - get to Hot Springs, AR, spend the night at the old hotel downtown, take in the baths...

St. Louis is nice too, lots of historical stuff and great food.

when I get to the US, I'm going to ask my wife to visit Golden Gate bridge first and we are planning to have our honeymoon within San Francisco only for we didn't spent much time after the wedding.

I spent a long weekend at Seaside Oregon last month ...

Cant wait to go back there again!

just got back from a 5 days roadtrip along california coastline up to coos bay, oregon....... whoooohoo... awesome and spectacular ocean view plus never ending green green nature... definitely hi-5 !! could have stretched up to washington state but staying 1 night and 1 day to my friends house in oregon took so much of the time but it was worth the visit too. :dance:

Update: Ok...we just got back from Arizona...Grand Canyon/Sedona..Wow!!! Have to see it to believe it...Canyon is amazinggggg...Sedona views and the fall foilage down from Flagstaff beautiful...Jerome...hmmm...way up there, but...what? boringggg! Prescott...my husband raced the mountain turns...Lol!...back to phoenix and fish market (restaurant) on camelback (hindi masarap)!...Btw, Sheraton Downtown Phoenix SUCKS (we prefer Diamond Hotel Manila)!
