I have a bad feeling I'm gonna be one of those unlucky people who get pushed behind while they take care of other things :crying:

No offense, but Kelle has been waiting THREE more months than you. Not to mention many others at VSC.

And Kelle, I hope you get it sorted out.

how do we know that they don't have the ability to put some kind of alert or negative comment in the phone response log --- I know they have a log as well, because during one of my previous calls, the customer support rep. said I see it shows you called on the following dates, all matching the dates I had called -- so take that for what you want as well ---

Right, they log each call and perhaps make notations regarding the nature of the call. This is fairly normal procedure, in my experience, when dealing with call centers.

How do we know that they don't have the ability to put some kind of alert or negative comment in the phone response log? Well perhaps they are allowed to make a note that says the caller was rude or agitated. But it's rather crazy to suggest that a call center employee from a contracted company has any ability to affect your case!

What - like March NOA2s?

I know this will anger you but try to understand many of us have been waiting longer than June, and even we don't expect instant approvals like you do.

Stirring things up --- by calling folks here crazy or whatever does not help anyone --- Funny how we are here for suggestions and encouragement and what we all to often get is comments back from folks like you who only seem to find the negative in things and call people like myself "Crazy"

Lets just all be a bit nicer to eachother and this part of the process of waiting (talking with and helping folks along the way) might be less upsetting..

People are constantly swearing at our receptionist when they are frustrated by their case delays. Not only would her making notes on the file be possibly ilegal, but it wouldn't make a difference when the adjudicator gets hold of the file.

I wouldn't worry.

Now if you pissed off a USCIS Adjudicator, well, then your file just might make its way to the bottom of the pile, or security checks. ;)

Wow - maybe you should read a few hundred of my posts before you suggest that I am stirring things up. I did not call you crazy - I said the idea was rather crazy.

I am trying to do exactly the opposite - help Kelle understand that even though it has been suggested here that she now has "black marks" on her case (talk about negative things) that this is not the case.

I am going to jump in here in Kitkat's defense also.

ktmmansgal you need to reread her post, she in no way implied the things you mentioned. (maybe you should take your own advice)

In my experience, Kitkat has offered more constructive advice and provided more supportive answers than 95% of other members of this and other boards of which we are both members. (myself included).

quote: If I were you and I lost my cool, I would call back and ask for Mary and appologize, that is recorded as well. She will likely be more willing to not let her opinion affect your case if you do that --- I am sure she gets tons of people at thier witts end and unless she is completely heartless, she should understand and not take it personally and place some black mark on your case. end-quote

Yep, I agree. In spite of how you feel she treated you, you also treated her improperly. You can do a one upmanship by calling back and apologizing. Having worked in an environment where I had to tell people news they didn't want to hear, I appreciate how frustrating it is on both sides of the equation. I do know that the ones who called back after losing their tempers at me - or my news - earned my respect, my appreciation, and my compassion. I certainly tried to do the best that I could to satisfy their concerns. The whole K-1 process is a frustrating one - I know, I was there for 9 months - and it doesn't pay to alienate anyone during the process. Anger, swearing, rudeness, loud voices, threats, intimidation don't get you any farther than polliteness, patience and consideration. It never pays to shoot the messenger. Take your frustrations out on a dart board with USCIS in the bulls-eye - or here on this forum. USCIS is too busy and overworked to care.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

I'm not going to debate on any of this.

I contacted the senator in my area, I will hope for the best, for now I will just wait as I have been doing.

And for the good news

Right after this all happened today, Stephen got home and his wedding suit had been delivered so he got on cam and I got a fashion show  of him and his lovely suit with his pink tie and we talked and he has calmed me down after a few harsh words from him on my potty mouth with USCIS. :bonk: Yes i should have kept calm but this woman was just straight up rude and her tone was even worse, so I said what I said end of story.

Thanks to Everyone for the Support as we all know this is a stressful Journey (L)

she then says well just be happy that your not filing for the 1-130 or something like that cuz we are packing loads of them up and sending them to another service center and those people are going to be waiting for ages

is crazy. Not only is it incredibly BAD customer service, but... Now they are sending the I-130s to CSC too?? Why send them somewhere where they know they will be waiting for ages? Where is the logic to this?

It's apparently true. There's a topic about it in the spouse visa forum. Seems they're transferring VSC people to CSC. That makes a lot of sense, doesn't it?

Who are you to talk anyway, you applied in MAY and in CSC, so get used to waiting.

MY service center is better than YOUR service center!!! Nya Nya Nya!

:innocent:

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.
