I'm filling I-129F and going to send it in Nov... and I was wondering if I can also apply for DV lottery program. would that affect the K1 process? I couldn't find related topics on forum, so I would appreciate an opinion, advice... thank you in advance! oh, and one more thing: if I am to win on lottery :star: (probably not :) ), would it be helpfull in the future? as in speeding the GC process when I get to the US?

Yes .you still can apply for the DV lottery program and it wont affect the k1 at all .

Well talking about if it will be helpful in the future .don't think so .cause if you will win the DV.you will know the result in June or in July of next year''2010''.and maybe you will be able to move to USA in 2011.i think by then you will be in USA with your K1 visa .

thank you! as I read on forums and offcial sites, it seemed so. but I needed a confirmation... hopefully I will be in the US in July in 2010 :) I will try though and I will let you all know if it worked (one 'tiny little' condition: to win :blush: ). you can received it if you're in the US by the time you win (that's what they say...). I had only one fear: complication on K1. well, not. thanks hot guy! I hope this will help other newbies in the future....
