I have a slight problem when it comes to this. Somewhere within the past 10 years, I traveled back and forth to Singapore a few times (neighbouring country) with a limited passport. This passport is issued specifically ONLY for travel between my country and Singapore and cannot be used to travel internationally elsewhere.

So anyway, the passport expired about 6-7 years ago, before I met my fiance and I threw it away cause it was old, expired and if I'm not mistaken, wasnt valid for travel between the two countries anymore, replaced finally by an international passport. In anycase, I threw it away cause I was gonna get an international one and HAD NO IDEA I would be doing something like this or need it 6-7 years later.

On the DS230 Part II they ask for countries visited the last 10 years in mm/dd/yy. I DONT REMEMBER the exact date, month or years during these early visits not on my international (current) passport. They also ask to bring all passports, old and current to the interview. It's long gone!

I know the reason they have this question is to determine which countries I need a police certificate for. I have not lived anywhere outside of Malaysia for more than 6 months, actually, not even more than 2 weeks.

What should I do? If I simply pull a date out of my #### it could be misconstrued as lying. If I don't fill up exactly the way they ask, it could be considered incomplete. I can't approximate days and months either. They are simply asking for something I absolutely cannot give them as my memory is spotty as it is.

I'm confused by your post. We filed a Cr-1 and my hubby didn't have any questions about what countries he's visited on his 230. Am I missing it?

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

Well it was attached to my DS230 Part II in Packet 4. It could not be part of the form but an attachment. It could be an embassy specific thing.

Okay-I don't have your answer, but I was thinking we screwed up when I read your question! We're not at the stage yet to send the 230 (just sent the 3032 this weekend) but he's already filled it out.

Hopefully someone can help you. Good luck!
