I have been curious how many of us here met our fiances playing world of warcraft? If you did, do you remember the first time you met them in the game? Thought this would be a fun topic to chat about.

I didn't but I have seen quite a few folks that have met on WoW on here. I'm actually interested myself to see how many ppl met this way.

We met on there in 2006. I can specifically remember when i heard his cute accent on vent... I was on my level 51 hunter at the time, he was on his priest and we were about to run Dire maul. He came on vent I got distracted and ran into a huge group of ogres, lol. yeah dead hunter . He had to rez me, i was so embarrassed lol. He was so cute laughing at me. Its been love ever since

I did! I remember he was a great listener and friend, and that he use to make silly comments in vent a lot.

We didn't meet on WoW, but that's what we spend most of our time doing. I was playing when we got together, and he joined me shortly after. We actually met on a website forum for the FF game series, then spent a bit of time getting to know each other on Ragnarok Online, and then voila ~ WoW!

(SADLY - I faction/server changed a few weeks ago, and he's yet to follow me )

Oh sorry! Its funny but its really great for long distance relationships. Your actually doing something together, so you dont feel so shut off from eachothers lives.

So did you go alliance or horde on your faction change? I started playing alliance 4 years ago, but have been horde for 2 years now.

We met on WoW on 4/07, when he joined my guild with his 2 friends. We play Horde on Malganis and i've played since 2006. We have played daily since we met and even though he's with me in the U.S. now, we still play everyday.

We actually started playing together when he was the first to hit 70 in my guild and I asked him to run me thru SFK on a lowbie. The next day, he asked me to run him through WC and I refused as I didn't know who he was on an alt. I was at WC farming and i'll never forget this little Orc Warrior running up to me asking me to run him. He told me if I knew who he was, I would run him and I asked who he was and since that day we lvled our two alts and been together ever since.

I remember the exact place I was standing when I realized I loved him and I visit that spot now and then to remember. It was on a rock near the dock at the Alliance town in TM. We were doing quests near the shore and both around lvl 25. It feels good to go back and remember all the good times we had then. If not for him, i'd be no where and have no lvl 80's now.

Aww thats awesome! I remember the exact spot I told him i loved him as well. Did the cheesy emote that I loved him, we were on a rock out of the coast of Azshara, he emoted it back, and ofcourse i freaked. hehe. I think my tell to him was,"for real?" lol. Yep that was it! I still go out there now and then as well. You can get so bogged down in all this paperwork and stress of waiting, but remembering these little things is what got us here.

Same here if it wasnt for playing with him on wow to spend time with him, I wouldnt have 3 lvl 80 horde now hehe. The last time i was over visiting him in March we hatched a plan to do the recruit a friend thing. Just to see what we could get out of it. lol we got one of every class past 60 within 3 weeks was so much fun.

When I found out our I129f was approved we were in MC. Hehe his reaction was,"F*** this game!" LOL. and proceeded to kill the molten giants by himself on his lvl 80 ret pally, was so funny. After playing wow for so long to be able to spend time with each other it will be nice to just play to play once he is here. We are both on Whisperwind if you ever over look up the guild mark of shadow. Thats mine and his guild Just mostly me and Damo in it, send us a tell

yeah Diane and I met on WoW. I was her Guildmaster lol.

She deleted her 70 lock to start a pally on my realm, and i had a 70 hunter.

As it stands Now, weve spent so much time playing together, whenever i logon wothout her i only last 5 minutes before i get bored and logoff again!!!

Haha! Im exactly the same way! The last two days tho I got my druid to lvl 69, and have been reeking havoc in wsg. Its such great therapy killing other players in bg.

I didn't meet Jesse on WoW - we both played together for a while but we've both more or less gone off it now.

Interesting story though - when I was 17 I met a guy called Rich. He was my guild leader at the time, we got to chatting one day, and over a few months we got pretty close. I signed up to an au pair program when I turned 18 and managed to land a job only a couple of hours away from where Rich lived, so we decided that since we had been so close we'd give a relationship ago (by this stage, we'd known each other about a year). Six weeks later he did a 180 on me - he had a CRAZY ex-girlfriend that was a big reason he eventually rejected me, she actually threatened to kill both of us at one point - but by that time, I had become good friends with all of Rich's friends. A friend of a friend of Rich, was Jesse We met at a beach party a few months after Rich and I ended. So, in an extremely roundabout way, you could kind of say that Jess and I met because of WoW.

Me and my fiancé didn't meet on WoW but we did met in a online game called Priston Tale. It's sort of the same as WoW but ftp. We met when I was joining a guild he was in and he was being very rude by just adding me on msn when he saw my pictures on a the guild forums. XD From there on we talked and somewhat 2 months later he told me he fell in love with me....
