Proof of Citizenship for 864A?

Hi,

Instead of filing an I-864, and having a joint sponsor (father at same address as me), he will file an I-864A as part of my family.

I don't see anywhere where the I-864A has to provide proof of being a USC. Is this not necessary for the A?

He doesn't have a passport and a birth cert will be very hard to locate.

Thanks

I don't know the exact answer to your question, but you should post your question again in this thread: UK AOS 2009 Thread, because people in this thread have filed I-864 and I-864A for AOS, so they should have an answer to your questions. Good luck!
