I've googled and found places that do this - but I'm wondering if anyone has actually DONE this. If so - experienceS? Good? Bad? who did you use?

Thanks all! Our stateside reception is AUgust 12th!! His parents and older bro are flying in. Just went to finalize some details today at the site. It's gorgeous..

Whenever I have seen that done I think.. oh boy another cheapo wine on the table. I mean who knows what the heck you are drinking? Usually the wine is awfull.

I suppose its better than having the reception halls name on the bottle.. that would be really bad.

I wouldnt worry about it too much though.. Its free so shut up!

Well i'm getting the labels cheap and ordering my own wine from my normal wine shop I think. That way it won't be horrid.

There are only 50 ppl so that won't be bad.

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

My wifes christmas party has the company name on the wine bottles.. its always a treat.. Is this 5W or 10W 30?

my sister and brother in law did that for their wedding...or rather his parents got that as their contribution to the wedding. They make their own (very good) wine, and then found a labeller. It was a nice touch, each table got a bottle of red and white each.

I have been at a number of weddings and events where they did that and always felt it was a lovely touch. Many wineries will do that for their own wines so basically, you get what you pay for. If you purchase a good wine to be labeled you have a good wine to drink; if you purchase a cheap wine to label, you have a cheap wine to drink. If you want to do it, go for it - and hang on to one of the bottles (empty or otherwise) as it is nice evidence to include a label with the AOS application!
