NAO2 question

Hello everyone! Well we got our NAO2 on Sept 29,2009 and it says it is good through 1/29/10 so does that mean everything has to be complete by January or what??? I'm so confused, and excited at the same time! Thanks for everyones help I couldn't do it without the help of VJ!!

I am almost positive that you need to get the visa within this time frame. If you don't, this approved petition will expire, and you will need to refile. I hope this helps.

Thank you! I was not sure if we needed the visa in hand by then or it just had to be in process at the embassy! I'm starting to get so excited thank you again for your help!!!

They would not need to refile. Most embassies automatically extend the date if the petition's been active. To be safe, they could send a letter requesting an extension. I believe there is a sample form in the example forms area.

I think normally everything (all going right) is complete by the time the NOA2 expires.
