Since when have vj developed the "find it your own dam self' mentality. If somneone has a question, and by God you just happen to know the answer, what should we say? "Im the brightest dam star on the freakin block, Im special, I know how to google, find it your own self???" Since when is asking a question too much? I mean really!!! If people just dont know the answer, be mature enough to say "I dont know". There is no need to attack the other person, or get a chain of smart asses trailing behind them. Please tell me whats the purpose? If google was so freaken great, there wouldnt be a vj. Basically, I think vj is getting to be just a portal for ppl wo vent there frustrations on other innocent people. They are obviously not happy in there life and evidently feel the need to prove something. Kind of like the bullies you remember in school that feel the need to bully and pick on other children. Basically like some members here they lack something in theyre life and theyre needy and jealous of other ppl. Theyre not happy with theyre current life situation. Or maybe they have a complex from when they were children and still havent quite grown up. Those are the people who remain bullies there whole life, up into adult hood.

For those of us who arent as talented as google as other might like us to be, please explain to us to do's and don'ts of vj. Because we sure would like to get it right to make fellow members proude. I know... lets start on on going list... you know... for those of us to read back on the great advice of other members.... hummmm lets see...

Lets first begin be define vj. "A place to go for questions an advice".. Oooooops! Sorry that was wrong... "we have google now" we dont need vj

I for one can do without certain members on vj who create a stink and make vj uninhabitable. Im sure others know pretty much who I'm speaking of and can quite agree. There is not sense people treating people badly for making the mistake of asking a question. If you know the answer and want to supply the answer, good for you. If you dont know the answer then theres nothing wrong with that. But if you know the answer and just want to be a 'b' then shut up and let someone else answer the question. Simple.

Well Im going off on my merry way to work a happy camper. If certain people want to sit around miserable all day and just make crappy replies on vj then what can I say. If it makes you feel the bigger person and gives you more confidence then who am I to stand in the way of your 'supposed' happiness. Good day! :energy: la laa laaaa

VJ is a "place to go for questions and advice regarding family immigration matters"...not necessarily something like details on the functionality of Magic Jack. The thread question was answered several times w/ the suggestion to purchase these items to communicate w/ you SO, yet you wanted to go in a different direction and have someone give you details on how this item works. This is not VJ related, not necessarily thread related and it is something that is really incumbent upon you to do. It is you who is thinking of purchasing this item. We all do more or less research when we chose to buy something....the people here have voiced their opinion on the quality of this item by saying it was the best thing to purchase. The rest (as in finding out if its worth it to buy, and how it works) is really up to you.

My question is very off subject, but being my fiance is in Morocco, you guys would be the ones to answer me. I am looking for a international card for my fiance, not me. The telephone rates there are so bad. If he gets my voice mail on my phone that is it, his money on his phone is gone. And becasue he is not working at this point in time he can not even call me, just can not afford the 15 dirhams a minute. And recently the phone comp has not been running any deals. So I was wondering if you guys know of any international calling cards they can use in morocco to help be able to call out of morocco and not cost so much. I have looked but not been able to find what i am looking for, besides a AT&t calling card. What do your fiances and husbands do while waiting to come to the US and call you???? Should i just get a magic jack, i know that is a choice.

While you're deciding about the Magic Jack, your fiance can buy the 20 MAD cards for the street phones. They give you about 12 and a half minutes. There are also cards that work from house phones that give the same amount of time, or more.

Maybe that's because the questions you ask have been asked and answered oh, I don't know, MANY times. That's what the search functions are for. That's what guides are for. Why are you so incapable of using them? Why should it be up to other people to constantly answer the same questions over and over and over again? Annie, while a fan of Magic Jack, shouldn't always be the go-to person for Magic Jack questions. But she was nice enough to show you links to searches SHE did for YOU on Magic Jack. And as always, whenever someone DOES take the time to answer you (myself included) and give you advice, you never thank them anyway. <_<

People on VJ are not here to serve YOU. Everyone makes collective and useful contributions from what I've seen. Sorry you feel that that it's "uninhabitable".....

Wowo... I guess we better do away with some topics on Mena then! Humm lets see.... Trick or Treat, Attention Facebook Users, Calling cards, Sending mone to Me/na, oh, and the daily "Ittsss Mondayyyy" reports, Send tax information, Stamp Controversey, Good morning, And our infamous slumber parties, The first year, Minesota Mena mini-meet.... Hummmm... do any of those topics have anything to do with immigration questions? Nope.. not! But we all are here bc of the same purpose of having something in common. So you would 'think" we could communicate in a friendly manor and share same interest. But ####### I forgot... we're not all friendly so thats not possible.

So, aren't you going to thank Annie? She googled it for you. I thought that was very nice of her.

As for the chatting threads, well I don't see too many people asking someone else to do everything for them. Just basically chatting. I don't see the need to stop those. But if you ask a question, and no one answers, why keep bumping it? Really it isn't that hard to google it, or search Visa Journey once in a while for yourself. Perhaps you don't realize this, but a lot of the times the people that are providing you with the answers had to search themselves for the answers. So why is it so much to ask you to look for it first, and if you can't find anything then ask questions?

We did the whole magic jack thing, but someone dropped it on the floor and it broke. So we just use msn or skype. We also have a code for calling. I got the international calling plan through T-mobile and if his family needs to talk to him ASAP, they call my cell let it ring twice and I call them back. Let me tell you I find the International calling plan quite helpful because we also have friends in other countries and I doesn't cut you off 5 minutes short of the time you are supposed to have. Anyway, good luck on the search!

Hi,

Is there a specific name to the TMobile international calling plan? Whenever I ask TMobile customer service, they always say they don't have international plans! I would love a good international calling plan on my cell phone.

Thanks for any info!

You accuse people of being rude. Isn’t it rude when people take the time to look up the information for you not just here but in other posts that you have submitted and you don’t bother to type thank you?? Outside of VJ when you assist someone and they don’t bother to say thank you isn’t that rude!?!? Seems to me and others you want your questions answered right away (or you will bump the thread as many as 3 times) but when someone or several people do answer your question you don’t bother giving back a simple thanks. Now that’s rude and I’m sure others here will agree with me.

Google Thanks or Thank You.

(F) This is what I found. I guess if you enroll there are discounted rates for calling and SMS however, if not enrolled in the discounted plan its 1.99 per minute (outrageous!!!).

Thanks. I appreciate it. .61 is still high. Much higher than the calling card system I use, and him calling here with the cards for street phone and home phone there. Thanks for looking it up though. I appreicate it.
