OK, here is my story maybe someone else has been through this? Our 129-F was approved on the 22nd of Sept. It went through NVC, was there less than a week and forwarded to the embassy.. in Caracas Venezuela! My fiance is currently living in Aruba, only for 2 more weeks, then he is going to the Philippines where his home country is. Which is why we requested from the start that we have our interview in Manila. I emailed Caracas and they informed us that they did have our case, and can forward the packet via pouch, to Manila.. which will take about 90 days! I spoke with the DOS and they said that usually it will go back to NVC, and they will forward it to Manila, but first I have to e mail Manila and ask them if they will take our case..

I have e mailed both embassys and am still waiting on replies. Has anyone needed to have their case forwarded to a different embassy than it was sent to? This is crazy that NVC's mistake is going to cost us 3 months... If there is anything I can do in the mean time, please let me know.

Thanks..

Megan

OMG!!! That is Terrible... First I would contact NVC to see what they will do with the file... Second I would contact Aruba and see if you can do a pre-paid Fed-EX to NVC and explain the situation to them. After all NVC sends DHL, why cant you/they???

I really hope they sort it out!!! I am so sorry for your delays....
