Sitting in the house hearing bang slide band crash wallop,,,,,just realised its the snow smashing off the roof round the house,,,is anyone else having this!?

Yes, we have a tin roof and it slides right off. Hits the back deck. It scares me to death every time it does it. It sounds like the house is falling.

That happens quite often in Toronto too.. DMV should have some snow driving test!!!!

I thought they already could, unfortunatetly as I understand it, they have to pull you over for a moving violation before they can give a ticket for obstructed view. Not positive on that though.

Thank God I live in Miami. I like to see snow when I go on vacation and/or skiing, that's it at no other time.

I become housebound once it snows,,,they drive like crazy people over here before the snow,,,so I stay away from the driving when the snow is here!

Its become a joke when my husband walks past my audi that is a four wheel drive,,,I pat it and say,,,not long until the spring arrives and we can go out together! Husband mutters,,,and you want a sports car? how would you live with that?
