Is xoom the same as western union when it comes to quality service? anyone had problem using it? I use western union and every trasaction is excellent. I'm thinking of trying xoom to save money but I'm afraid my family in PI may not get the money right away

We didn't have any problems using xoom. We have used this money transfer service often for many years now ( 5 yrs.) for direct deposit into the bank account, pick up or delivery services. Before we experienced delays but now it is faster like Western Union or Money Gram.

Thank you for you reply. What also encouraged me to try it ,is that I can use my credit card. I tried to do transaction with WU using my CC but it was such a pain and I gave up.

We used the code last night, and it worked. We have sent money for pick up and for bank deposit and haven't had any problems. I would highly recommend using xoom. It's a lot cheaper than western union.

Works pretty well for me. Only issues I've had is using funds from my bank account takes a week. I only use coupon code + credit card for instant delivery.

I tried the code "SAVEOCTOBER" on Oct 15th, but it said it already expired, so I had to pay the fee. I also tried several other codes I thought might work, but to no avail. I never could find a good code.

We just tried it today but it didn't work. Up to date, no Xoom code ever worked for us. We tried sending to my dollar account. I wonder if it's only for remittance which can be received in PHP...
