Another question....I have been with my Fiancee over a year now...and been to the Philippines many times and stayed together for long periods of time....recently spent 3 months together May-August......before we were together I had other Gf's there who were older.........she and I just click.....here is my question.

She is young and there is about 30 years difference in our ages....and while I know it is frowned upon in American Culture....there it is really no big deal......

However how will they look upon it in the application process and interview???

Any others experience this???

Thank You in Advance for your replies.....

I don't think it will be a problem in USA too, cause my friend has same case with her husband which is 40 years younger than her and every thing was fine when they applied for marriage in the embassy in Amman, Jordan............ Love doesn't ask why.....and success of relationship never depend on age

all sorts of evidence...the best one being (i think) is an email i sent to Casa when they refused his tourist visa when i needed surgery back in June...lol....(at the time, i wasn't aware that since he was an intending immigrant they would not give him one)

To avoid any confusion it is the intent on that trip, many people travel to the US who have future immigration intent.

what i meant to say is that we had already filed for I-130 and it was in process....the consulate sent me an email stating that since he was an intending immigrant he was not eligible...the grounds were not enough ties to morocco because of the fact that he is an intending immigrant

and the "intent" was to be here for my surgery and recovery...its not as if we were planning a trip to disney world...

Nothing to stop you visiting with a I 130 in process, I did it, many do.

Not enough ties is different issue.

I am not trying to confuse anyone i am just stating what the consulate told me...lol....i was not trying to explain in detail why he was denied but remarking on the fact that i sent the consulate an email and plan to use that as evidence of relationship regarding how upset i was that he could not be here for my surgery....but i do find it a little crazy that he was denied over something so important as surgery (at least to us anyway)... maybe we should have told them it was for disney world.. :jest:
