Moving to Consular Forums.

Adding I'd like to see some discussion from other self-employed members as to qualifying on just one years taxes.

Yes Ill bring all three years back Taxes. In our first post it was stated bring every thing alwas be on the safe side.

Ill have about 15 folders when I do to interview and ever one will be about 3 inchs thick hahahaha.

I alwas beleave and over kill!! Make sure its dead so it dont get back up and bit you in the ####!! LOL

It has always been my understanding that three years of income (garnered from three years of tax returns) is what consulates are looking for from a self-employed person.

This may be a consulate specific issue.

It is. Kiev does not require it. One year for self employed, optional for "employed" (so they say) but don't try it. I know of two employed persons that the visa was held until the most recent year tax return was provided.

Providing 3 years is OK if it makes you look better, or even if just because. No penalty for overkill.
