CFO seminar

hello guys! i just want to ask if the CFO seminar can be done before the scheduled interview; because from what i know, it can only be done after the interview especially if you passed it and you already have your visa in hand because they need to check it before the CFO can take place. I hope you can share with me your ideas on this; especially those who have done the CFO already. thanks!

You can do the seminar before and when you get the visa you have to go back and get the registration sticker in your passport.

Hi Sheila-Todd, here are the requirements.

Documents: NSO documents

passport

information about your fiance/spouse are needed to fill up the forms.

They will take a picture of you with a digital camera.

Fee is Php 250

You can come back when you have the visa so you can get the CFO Sticker.

Documents:

1.Original Passport;

2.Original and photocopy of visa;

3.Original and photocopy of Immigrant Data Summary for US bound;

4.Original CFO guidance and counseling certificate (the blue certificate);

5.Duly completed emigrant registration form (you can download this from the CFO website and fill it up in advance); and

6.Payment of the authorized registration fee (Php 400).

When do you plan to attend the seminar? I'm planning to attend it in advance too.

Is the P250 fee for the pictures in addition to the P400 registration fee?

Also, can anyone verify that the seminar is available in Cebu? The CFO website lists a Cebu office at the corner of Osmena Blvd and MJ Cuenca. My wife would like to attend there if possible.
