It's an official sex contract that binds you by the power of looooooooooooove. You cannot pass go and you cannot collect $200 unless you put out you have the right to remain silent and anything you say can be used against you in a court of love. My poor husband is arrested without a chance of bail or probation. He is hereby deemed my love slave for life and he cannot break the bound contract or else I will tie him up in contempt of court and beat him... he may like that actually... perhaps I should rethink my form of punishment lol

It's about waking up next to that person and making him late for work by overloading him with extra kisses. It's about growing old together and loving each other for their human. Humans are flawed. It's about lovinig the flaws that come with his human because they are apart of him or her.

It's not binding, it's not contractual, it's not forced, it's a choice from the heart and sometimes love makes that choice for us.

It's about knowing that when you are old and your teeth are falling out, your love is going to be there to put them back in for you.

Marriage is whatever 2 people make of it. However, a healthy marriage involves trust, sacrifice for your partner, consideration for the feelings, dreams. goals, and aspirations of your partner, and devbotion to eaach other and to nurturing the relationship. To the extent the you and your partner agree on major lifestyle issues (religion, money,raising kids, how much together/apart time is ok, etc) there is less need for compromise and less opportunity for conflict.

My wife and I did not use a pre-nup even though I have substantial pre-marital assets. We both wanted children, we have known each other for 3 years, and we just felt very comfortable with each other. She is 30 and I am 48. We have similar religious, family, and personal values. I have never experienced a woman so loyal or supportive - God really blessed me with Dolly - she is smart, funny, easy to be with, interesting, mysterious, beautiful, loving, devoted, (and very hot too). We almost never argue. 7 months ago we had a baby boy and we have 2 step children as well. Next week I will fly with her and the kids back to Florida and we will start a new chapter in our lives.

Marriage is.......... a gamble ......... because you take a..... risk ..... for your love, life and future.

Let's be open-minded about this.

I disagree that marriage is a win-win circumstances because not everyone can have it. That is why divorce and annulment were formulated to unbind people.

Marriage is not an ideal union for people. It is a reality that people can take a risk to gamble their love, life and future where you will never know and only time can tell if you win or lose after all the struggles.

There is always probability that you will lose even though you think you will win because there's a lot of unseen factors. That is why it is important to have spiritual guidance in marriage. It helps alleviate the marriage and achieve the success for it.

I must say......

I gamble.... and I know I win..... and I know I'm gonna win at the end.... but fate have its twist.... I might never know... but I have no fear that I will lose.... because there's divine guidance in the middle of our relationship that keeps guiding us to right path.

It's so funny to see people say that marriage is NOT a gamble. Shish! Every decision we make in life is a gamble, because there is uncertainty in everything we do each day. Itz just that some consequences are bigger and more life-changing than others.

Everytime you decide to leave the house is a gamble. Everytime you go to McDonald's it is a gamble, everytime you cross the street it is a gamble. And yes, when you get married, it is a gamble, with a 50/50 chance of succeeding or failing. Flip a coin. Not one couple in the history of the human race thought that their marriage would fail, not one. And yet, statistically, half of them do.

Oh, and going into the casino and playing there is a gamble, too.

We only have an ILLUSION OF CONTROL over our lives, good people. And the sooner you accept this, the better off you will be.
