Good Luck :D

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Congratulations again! You know what.. 23rd is my interview. It's the date I was praying and hoping to have so I was really amazed when the lady gave me that date.. Thanks for all your help Kaye. And btw, i was supposed to have my 2nd medical today but ah,.. I was told to go to St.Lukes E. Rod to see a dermatologist cause i have some rashes at my back... It's more like of a "bungang araw" but its not itchy.. pag mainit kasi, humid napapawisan. So anyway, I passed all the medical test and I fall for some kind of a rash?? Kaya a bit frustrating for me cause I will come back next week pa... And I was told that maybe they will give the imu shots on the 21st or 22nd so my left arm will probably go numb during my interview.. So to those who are reading this be aware of rashes on your medical just like what happened to me. The patient I was with today, she's supposed to have her interview appointment tomorrow but it was scheduled for another appointment. For what??? SHE USED MAXI PEEL ON HER FACE!!! It was red but it wasnt so bad.. but still she was asked to see a dermatologist. Although it's not going to affect your visa application but it will cause some delay. SO be ware!!! Thank you..

Hi Stellar so if ever they will asked you to see dermatologist or any other specialist , does it mean another fee or it's included already in medical exam fee at SLEC? Thanks for sharing your medical experience.

stellar8 paid a separate fee (Php 850, I believe). It wasn't included in fees paid to SLMCEC. She mentioned it on a different post.

Hi Y's_habibitk. :)

Your encouragement and support has been very valuable to us. Thank you so much. Hubby's work condition hasn't changed much (in fact they will have another round of budget cuts again next year).

However, because I got some extra money from my company we can afford to get our own apartment...he is signing the lease on Thursday. :) No more roommate from hell. lol

Going home next Friday...I'm so excited!

Thats great! Congrats and I hope you guys have a wonderful life together. I hope your husbands work and living situation have improved and you guys can start your life together stress free

Good Luck :D

I paid extra around P850 (consultation fee) not including the soap and ointment and the other one i forgot what its called. It's a different doctor but it should be accredited to St.lukes ext. also. I think if you have some skin problem the PE doctor will endorse you to her, she is the official dermatologist. Hassle talaga.. sometimes even birth mark will cause u some trouble cause of the history they had, the receptionist of the dermatologist told me that's why they're very strict! But as long as its not contagious then its ok the doctor should clear you and make some medical certificate.. pero ang tagal nya gawin huhu.. she told me friday pa then maybe nextweek they will read my result then I will call them to finally to take my 2nd day medical taz interview is on friday na.. haaaayyy..

take care
