Hey everyone! I recieved our NOA2 on the 28th of September and the letter I got in the mail says, "The above petition has been approved and forwarded to the listed consulate." Does that mean that they didn't send it to the NVC first? Or do all the approval letters say that. We haven't heard anything and it's been almost two weeks, so I'm a little concerned! Thanks!

All petitions once approved get sent to NVC for dispersal to the appropriate embassy. Their just seems to be 2 form letters they use and one say they sent it to the consulate, but in reality they all must visit NVC.

Make sure you keep on top of this & call the embassy in Lima. The packets that they mail out have a habit of getting lost in the postal system. My husband had to go to the embassy to pick a packet up. The original packet they mailed out showed up AFTER the interview LOL.

Good luck :)
