hi i sent my AOS off at the end of july, i just wondered if any one has got there EAD yet! ???

i live in texas! near dallas! sent my forms to chicargo lock box! and got my NOA1s and hadmy biometrics august 26th

I live near Dallas, too :thumbs: Great city.

Haven't got my EAD yet. Is it neccessary, by the way, to have biometrics taken first before getting EAD?

yes, many have already received their EAD. Check the august '09 filer's thread & the august '09 progress report thread and also the timelines on this site. Finally, check out this spreadsheet.

K1: 01/15/2009 (mailed I-129F) - 06/23/2009 (visa received)

AOS: 08/08/2009 (mailed I-485, I-765, & I-131) - 10/29/2009 (received GC)

I am a late August filer and my EAD was approved a week ago (Biometrics was on 22nd of Sept)

I'm very surprised you haven't heard anything yet.

08/31/2009 - Cheque cashed

09/05/2009 - Biometrics notice received

09/23/2009 - Biometrics Appointment

09/23/2009 - I-485 Transferred to CSC

10/02/2009 - EAD Approved (card production) & AP approved!

10/11/2009 - EAD Card received

10/20/2009 - AOS approved, GC card production ordered! (53 days in total)

10/26/2009 - Green Card received - nearly 11 months to the day of our K1 NOA 1!

11/25/2009 - Started my new job!

02/26/2010 - Passed my driving test :-p

07/20/2011 - Eligible to remove conditions

2012 - Going for citizenship

09/20/2011 - Removal of conditions submitted to VSC....here we go...again!

It's been a quick and relatively painless journey thanks to tireless research, dumb luck and this community :)

DONE with USCIS for a while :)

"that is so bad" i m so sorry to hear that, but how could you not know you could check it online? they say that in all the Notice of actions!!

call them asap and try to know what was the RFE for, if they dont want to tell you, then schedule an infopass and explain you never received the RFE in the mail!!Good luck :star: be positive and rely on GOD

i GUESS i just never noticed i thought it meant you could go and check the timescales which is never right! always behind like 6 months! i called and the guy said they are re-sending it out! within 15days! does anyone know how long they give for the time to give the info back! ( deadlines)

30 days is the norm for replying to an RFE.

I sent my aos august 10 and have my biometrics september 23 and received my ead october 1. And my interview schedule is november 9.

By this time, you should have receive your ead already.

September 26, 2012 - NOA 1 received
October 01, 2012 - Biometrics letter received
October 26, 2012 - Biometrics appt @ 11am
March 1, 2013 - Oathtaking. US citizen finally!!!
