Hello everyone!

Has anyone gone through an I-130 DCF filing at USCIS Manila? Assuming the USC is a permanent resident in the Philippines at the time of filing:

1. When does the USC leave to go back to the USA? Is it right after filing the I-130 or months later before the Visa interview or at the same time as the immigrant?

2. Regarding domicile, on the I-130 my domicile is the Philippines in order to qualify for DCF filing. What address regarding domicile goes into the I-864? Is the USC expected to be in the States prior to filing the I-864?

I've done tons of backreading and I can't find a post that details the DCF timeline here in Manila, if there is such a post please link it. Thanks in advance everyone and good luck with your petitions!

You can leave the Philippines after you file I-130 at the embassy. There is no need for attending the interview with the beneficiary.

Your domicile needs to be in the US, not in the Philippines. Your residence (physical address) is in the Philippines.

Domicile and residence are two different things.

You do not have to be in the US when you file I-864, however you need to provide the proof of domicile such as US bank statements, US driver's license, voter's registration, etc.

One of the most important thing is to establish domicile in the US. Next is meeting the income requirements.

I recently assisted a friend do a DCF. He had lived in Mindanao for 12 years. When he attended the interview with his wife the CO OKed the visa without any problems . The CO told him the USEM wants ALL Americans out of Mindanao.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!
