Hi everyone!!!! I felt so lonely and almost losing my patience to waited to get approved. Many of my friends here in VJ was approved already. I felt envy to them that sooner they going to be with thier loved ones. Im so frustrated. I kept praying for my approval. Please help me to pray. Thank you Vjers.

Congratulations to all the couple are successfully living with thier loved ones.

Hello ETP...I understand how you are feeling right now..We also applied for the K3...since last May 09, 2009..

We will keep on praying for the favorable outcome of our journey. As for now..we need to make ourselves busy so as not to feel lonely. At the end of the day, no matter how long or short our journey is, how difficult the road may be just to get that pink slip, still...we will be reunited with our husband. Our love for them will make us more patient and stronger. So, put a smile..we also have a life to live... :no:

VJ is a wonderful place to learn about the process and make some friends along the way that can totally understand what you are going through.....but it also allows you to compare your timeline to sometimes shorter ones. Its hard to see people getting approved around you that filed around the same time or AFTER. Try to focus on staying busy and preparing for the next step in the process. I totally understand how you feel because I felt it ALOT last year watching people who had not even been married as long as we were being approved before us. Its mixed feelings, you're happy to see a couple get lucky but envious about it too. My point? you arent alone in those feelings and there are plenty of peopel on this site who are more than willing to listen and give you support and encouragment (F)

Good Luck and try to stay strong....this is a hard process to go through, thank god for VJ and people who can totally relate. :)

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Did you VJers ever notice that just when you think you can't take it anymore, that's when you move one tiny step ahead?

Congrats on the approval.

With regard to the envy, I think we've all felt it, and I will add this: sometimes you fly through one segment of the journey, only to crawl slower than a turtle at the next. I got through the I-130 process pretty quickly, but my NVC journey is taking a bit longer than expected, and will probably be longer than my fellow June filers. And even after THAT, we're expecting a denial and the need for a waiver. In reality, we're probably looking at another 9 months to maybe a year.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that we're all on this painful journey together. Some will be approved quickly, and some won't. But try to remember that just because someone gets an approval on an early step, it doesn't mean they'll get a visa any faster than you will.

Hang in there - we share the same pain, all of us, and that's that we just want our loved ones with us, and the security they bring.
