Better go to SMEF-COW in QC instead, they're not so #######-retentive, plus she only has to be there half a day. :-) If she goes there before 8:00 a.m., she will be done by lunch time.

Part 1: For the Counseling Requirements for Filipino Spouses and Other Partners of Foreign Nationals

1. Two (2) valid identification cards (IDs) with photograph;

2. Duly completed guidance and counseling form (they will give this to her at SMEF-COW);

3. Other documents as may be required by the counselors; and

4. Payment of P250.00 counseling fee.

She will undergo a peer counseling session, and will be issued a blue certificate of attendance (half a letter size paper).

Part 2: Pre-Departure Registration Requirements & PDOS Schedule

1. Original valid passport;

2. Original and photocopy of visa;

3. One (1) 2x2 or passport-size photograph;

4. One (1) valid identification card with photograph;

5. Original and photocopy of Immigrant Data Summary (for USA bound emigrant);

6. Duly completed registration form (You can download this and fill it up in advance: http://www.cfo.gov.ph/registrationform.pdf);

7. Payment of P400.00 registration fee; and

8. Attendance in the PDOS or peer counseling session (if she has completed Part 1, she doesn't need to attend the PDOS); At the end of this process, she will get her CFO Sticker; she has to present her blue certificate and she will also get a CFO green certificate (it looks like a check). Later, when she changes her name on her passport to her married name, she will need the green certificate (don't lose it).

CFO has a satellite office at the back of the SMEF-COW compound, so there's no need for her to go to CFO Manila anymore. :)
