Hey guys, just found out our case was completed today. Typically, how long will it take to get an interview date? Also, how long out is it usually? 1 month? Also, is it possible, or how can youask for an interview expidite if they put it really far out, like 2 months or so..

Thanks much!

There is no assurance for how long it will take, but for some cases, if you are looking for some Timelines here in VJ you will get an idea, however this are still case to case basis.

You cannot request to expedite your interview date but according to some individuals if your husband or fiance is a member of the military, they might give you special attention.

Good luck!!

It varies from embassy to embassy. A expedite is not far fetched, so far Ive had no luck so far, but they are working with us, and I have a reasonable request why we need one. Embassy will work with you if its truly needed. They wont honor requests of just because "I need her or him here, I miss her or him."

But you cant request till you have interview date, due to embassy wont have your case till after interview is assigned by NVC.

This is the week for interview assignment dates. Maybe you will luck out and get a date soon.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.
