Its been so quiet for us at the CSC office. They still dont seem to be approving things? I am hoping they just have a big stack that they have approved and will do all the updates together (very soon). OK, I know it is optimistic, but I just want to believe something positive to be going on right now.

Think all of us at CSC are hoping for the same thing. The only thing to come out of CSC in last week seemed to be IMBRA RFE receipts. This is getting very old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe Ewok can go to CA and represent all of us. If someone shows up saying they are representing all of us, i am sure they would not let him in the door! hehe.

I can't even open threads that say I got approved, I'm too bitter. If I get approved I will not post it, I will PM those that (I think) care.

I did put a call in today to my senator's office & left my contact a msg.

kitkat, i will be watching you for updates since you were also a nebraska xfr that had an NOA1 only 6 days before me. Good luck to us and everyone else stuck in process that is now standing still.

At this point, the only thing we have going for us is that Ciudad Juarez in Mexico doesn't require an appointment date to be assigned. Once the NVC sends the file to CDJ and they are able to actually confirm that it has been received (hard since they don't exactly answer emails in a comprehensive manner - like USCIS and because it's hard to reach a live person, let alone one that speaks English) my fiance can go to the interview. Then we are facing a waiver situation and another 6-9 month wait.

Bitterness is oozing out of my pores today since his interview would have been long since finished if we didn't have this IMBRA/transfer to CSC debacle . . .

May I ask which waiver? I also have a waiver request. Mine is the multiple petitions one. I did recieve the IMBRA RFE slightly ahead of you but who knows if that means anything. We are told no, but who knows in real life.

I am petitioning for the Philippines and I know that Embassy is very busy. So, all the petitions coming out of VSC months with a NOA1 date after mine is disheartening. I know my baby and I will be in a long wait behind those to get an interview scheduled.

Different kind of waiver - for overstay in the US. All the paperwork is ready to be submitted to the consulate at the interview where he will be denied. But apparently they are the busiest consulate in the world and severly understaffed - there are only TWO people who review waivers there. So it takes about 9 months. We were prepared for this especially since we are incredibly lucky to have this option available in the first place. But we certainly thought we would be well into the post-interview waiting time by now.

From here on out, every week I'll be hoping that CSC begins cranking out approvals so we can get over this mightmare of a process. Goodness!

Like many of the other ex-Nebraska cases we too are impatiently waiting for California to do something. It seems they take quite a bit longer than Vermont. It can be frustrating to think of other cases getting approved very fast in Vermont, but do not be upset at the people who filed. It certainly is not their fault California is in slow motion. Be happy for them, all our cases will have approvals soon... <evil glare> Right CSC? <end evil glare>
