Frustrated!

Just went thru the forms and found out that Form I-864 Question 6, 7 and 18 was not filled out. The packet has sent to Chicago on Monday!!!!

I know it is sillly that I did not see it before I have sent them off !!! oh well what a dumb!

Now I dont know what to do...should I send a supplement lettter re. those numbers and explain that I forgot to filled them in, or should I type and re-send the form I-864 again or I just need to wait and getting RFE???

And also I have attached only one copy of my wife's passport page, K-1 visa and departure card I94. It suppose to be one for each application right..??? ( I-131 and I-765)

Any input on what I should do???

Appreciate your reply guys, thank you!

I would try to call the national call centre and ask them first although I don't know how competent the people who work there really are. If you wait for an RFE....that would set you back as far as timing goes. You could try to send in a supplement letter with a copy of your original application and then highlight the areas that you missed. I don't see how that would hurt. Yes it is supposed to be one copy for each application (as I think they get separated and each appl goes to a different area). Can you re-submit the entire application again? Make sure the next time you submit anything to them......check, check and then check again before mailing anything to USCIS. Keep asking this question on this site.....alot of people on this site have great advice.

don't bother sending anything, it's already too late, you have to let it process now, if you send something now then it will just get lost, there are thousands and thousands of applications, no one is going to go and pull your file to double check or add papers too it. you have to wait and let it get adjudicated...

helloworld : is there any chance i can call uscis and tell them about it? if i wait and let it get adjudicated,it means i will be getting an RFE? if so ,how long would it take from finding out that i missed something on the paper until they send me an RFE?

thanks for your reply

calling USCIS is useless, they don't care... you may or may not get an RFE, and yes, they will send you an RFE to notify you if any.... not sure how long it takes you'll just have to wait...

What makes an RFE what doesn't? I am hoping my case doesnt make it as it will delay the process arrrgh! but in the copy of my W2 form I sent as attachment to I864, they sure can see my SSN there. Will they just be kind to fill out the SSN on Question #18 that I have missed? And also my wife's Alien Registration # and SSN was there as well on the Form I-76, I only missed to filled them out on the form I864. Arrgghh ...! Finger crossed that USCIS would be kind to me and no RFE !

Thank you guys.
