You do know about Oz Sheep, right?

No, not a secret - but a heavy interest by OZ for exporting their SHEEP for consumption.

Islamic countries buy the most, during Ramadan, for the 'end of Ramadan' feast day - must slaughter a live sheep, each head of family.

It's a big deal.

If you'll study the link I posted earlier, you'll see about the snafu from 2003.

IMO, Australia took a big hit then, and I've no idea if they've actually recovered from it yet.. That's a lot o sheep, a lot of money - with the OZ gov paying off everybody (except the original buyers ) - sheep ranchers, shipping companies, etc etc.

Sure, I know this is 'off topic' - but fast forward from the crisis in 2003 to today - just ####### is going on, and was it a successful export season for Ramadan this year?
