Hey guys, I've been here in the U.S. for about 3 years and 6 months. I just got my green card through marriage adjustment of status. I'm wondering if it would help to bring my parents here to visit me. They have no intention to immigrate here.

While Illegal here my mom and dad tried a tourist visa twice and they were denied, and on the last interview they were really bitchy about me and my 2 siblings being illegal here (My brother and sister are still paperless). On their last interview the officer told them that if they tried again without significant change on the situation, they would be denied for a lifetime.

My question is: Can they do that?

Me and my wife are going to Brazil in december, Should we try their visas and go to the consulate with them?

The parents cannot be denied for life unless they did something wrong, but of course the consulate can keep taking their visa application money and deny their visas. I don't think you going with them to the itnerview would help, but an invitation letter from you, saying that you take care of them financially while they are in the USA, may help. Do they have any kids/ grandkids in Brazil? If so, they should emphasise that at the interview.

Look up inadmissibility grounds INA 212(a)(9). If a person is refused entry into the US and are told that they cannot return for say 5 years, and they return within that 5 years, then they can be found inadmissible for 10 years, and if they try it within the 10 years then it gets bumped up to 20.
