I searched hte forum but didn't found what exactly I was looking for. So Question 16: Your household size

part a already has 2 there, for me and my spouse who I am sponsoring in this form but than again part b says your spouse, should I enter 1 again here? I will keep the total count to 2 at the end but should I still enter the number here? Jsut confused.

The instructions say not to count anyone twice.

put 1 for part a and 1 for part b = 2

Yes, do not count anyone twice! Here is what I typed on the conver letter:

Please note that as per instructions (Do not count anyone twice) on part 4 of the I-864, I did not selected item “b” because my wife is the person that I am petitioning for.

They've seen thousands of these cases. They understand why the spouse is not counted in both places.
