What's up with a red flag going up if the petitioner proposed to the beneficiary right after meeting (usually)-her? I mean, that would be a problem for tons of people with Filipina brides. Didn't Charles propose to Nessa like 2 days after they met and then go home briefly afterward?

Are you referring to this? I take it to mean meeting and marrying in a very short time period. Simply meeting and getting enaged in short period of time doesn't mean a plunge into matrimony. That's the way I understand it anyway. And as long as USCIS takes you could be enaged for years before you actually plung into matrimony.

just remember that also all reg flags arent created equal.. and that the consular officer will take the relationship as a whole into consideration

Very useful. Only #8 would apply to us. I only started collecting evidence after the engagement because, well,I never thought I'd ever need the millions of used plane tickets I threw away, or the e-mails I deleted because of limitted space.

You may be able to document trips in other ways, including:

- credit bills showing purchase of plane ticket

- receipt copies from travel agent (if used)

- frequent flyer credit from the airline where you got credit.
