Aw Laura....that's just really great news! With every post of yours I could just FEEL the tension mounting and mounting. I know you are sooooo happy and relieved today.

You know, the bit where people get approved 'out of order'? It's always been that way......IMBRA just made it worse. The entire time I've been a member here (a year and a half) I've seen people get approved, get their medicals done, get their interviews - in all sorts of wacky order! It always just seemed like a shotgun sort of approach with no rhyme or reason to it. There's been some explanations before about the cases being logged in at the service centers in date order - you can imagine how many come in one day - and the boxes are pulled at random - and the officers can start at the front of the box, the back of the box, the middle - sigh! And as to assigning interviews - heck they seem to go that very same way.

Soooo.....don't feel bad for those little green monsters of envy for those 'ahead' of you. I think it's natural. We've all felt that way. I feel the same way now sometimes, watching people who filed their AOS after my husband did, and they have their greencards but he doesn't.

We're all part of this mucked up system - eventually somehow I guess we will all get through. The day my husband naturalizes I'm gonna get DEEPLY inebriated and stay that way for like...3 days maybe? LOL
