Anytime V333k...anytime... we are all in this 'frustrating suck fest' together.
Now if you worked at VSC..that would be a different story altogether...

I just had an epiphany!!!

I am going to quit my current Engineering job and apply for an office supplier company that supplies to VSC.

When I receive an order from them, I am going to send them NOA! It will say something like this:

Dear Officer:

We have received your pencil order. We are eagerly working on providing you with the best service. You should expect your pencil to arrive within 6 -12 months. You will soon receive another letter requesting your "biometrics". This process is important since we have extremely high standards and we want to make sure that the pencil will fit exactly your hand, we don't want to see it break while you are working.

Then, I will keep them waiting until we receive a phone call from one of their officers. This is what I imagine the conversation will be like:

officer: We requested a pencil a year ago and we haven't heard anything yet.

me: Let me take a look at your order. Yes, I see your order....... Oh, there is no information we can provide you except that we received your request and it is going to be processed in the order it was received.

officer:We need this pencil to write with and get on with our lives.

me:There is nothing I can provide you with at the moment. You can schedule an infopass appointment with one of our warehouses.

officer: What?

me:Yes, you can go there and get a garantee in your financial documents that your money is not wasted and your waiting is deeply sympathized with.

Now the officer will go get a stamp in their finance books saying that they have an additional year of guarantee that the pencil will arive.

Then, I will send them a letter (RFE) after a few more months:

Dear Officer,

This letter is to inform you that we do not have enough information and we would like to request the same information you gave us when you placed the order and we will also be sending you another biometrics appointment since our carpenter did not get a good reading and therefore could not cut the pencil properly. In addition, we could not determine if you are placing this order with the intention of taking the pencil home or really as an office requirement. You have 30 days to comply with this request or your order will be considered abandoned and we will close your account with our company. Your money will not be refunded. If you feel that this is not fair, then you can use one of our online forms and apply for reconsideration with the fee of $1000 to reopen your order.

Once I receive this information, I will send them another letter saying that we received their new info and it will be only a few more months before we complete their order.

Then, 6 months pass and I finally approve their order.

The letter will be as such:

Dear officer:

I have great news. Your order has been approved and we have forwarded your order to the proper department. Please allow 6 months to receive your pencil. Please feel free to contact us (if you haven't retired yet) after 6 months if you have not received your order.
