So I got a letter yesterday from USCIS (I filed my i751 to VSC)

"Congratulations! Your request for the removal of the conditional bases of your permanent resident status has been approved."

I went to the website and I got the confirmation

"Post-Decision Activity

On January 22, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations."

So...WOOOHOOO! Everything seems to be OK! Now to look forward to the next steps..not sure if file for citizenship will be the next step.. but on the other side.. dealing with this stress every 10 years is not something that I want to to through again. So I think I will apply.

I LIVE IN cHINA and i have a US address where i receive my mail. it is frustrating i cannot check my mail box everyday :(

I noticed you got the same local office as me , did you go for your biometric apt ?

if so did you get any touches after the apt ?

glad VT is moving on oct fillers this means another month before I can see some movement for my file
