Got my I-751 receipt notice from VSC yesterday. So, my NOA is coming soon y'all???????????

I'm a little concerned today, tho - they've still not cashed my check and no NOA. They signed for this packet last Thursday a.m.; what's up?

My check took more than 1 week (from the date they received) to be cashed...

02/2001 - Met in Europe

08/2004 - Moved to USA

08/2007 - Married in Brazil

09/2007 - Submitted AOS to VSC

12/2007 - AOS approved

09/2009 - Submitted I-751 to CSC

10/2009 - ROC approved (1 month 2 days from receipt date)

12/2010 - Submitted N400

01/2011 - Biometrics (twice)

02/2011 - Citizenship Interview and Civics Test

04/2011 - Oath Ceremony/American Citizen

02/22/2011-New IL arrived schedule for March 29

02/22/2011-Descheduled Letter Again ( 2nd Time)

02/23/2011- I called USCIS and I was told new schedule in the computer for March 22

Submitted via registered snail-mail my I-751 on Oct 5, 2009.

Just received my NOA today.

June 3 - Mailed N-400, Application for Naturalization.

June 8 - Received email with Receipt Number.

June 11 - Biometrics appointment letter mailed out (June 30 at 1PM)

June 30 - Biometrics.

I can finally join something....lol!

I sent my I-751 Oct 1/09, delivered Oct 3/09 and I just received my NOA today the 13th.

BTW..I only sent mine all clipped together in the order of my cover letter with a big black gator clip. Nothing fancy.

Oct 3 - package delivered

Oct 5 - NOA mailed

Oct 13 - 1st NOA received and additional letters for my daughters I filed with. NOAs stated Resident Status

has been extended for 1 year and that we will be receiving a letter for an ASC appointment for

fingerprints, photo, and signature.

Dec 2009 - Received 10 year permanent resident card.

Feb 2010 - My children received their 10 year permanent resident cards.

Oct 2010 - My children were legally adopted by my USA Citizen husband.

I completely forgot yesterday was a holiday. That's a relief!

A week for the check to be cashed? Ok then...I guess I just need to try to be patient. :whistle:

Yup...checked my mail again today and there was nothing. So, I dont know how long does it take for NOA come in the mail but oh well atleast they cashed my payment so way to go.

I just checked my receipt number on the USCIS website and it states that it is not in the system. I wonder how long it is before they update it there. Anyone know?

Just so you guys know, the receipt number (WAC or EAC) is NOT the one you can check your status online. You need to wait until your BIO APPT LETTER. The number on the back of your check won't help you with anything. Wait until the bio appt comes, then you can check the status of your case using the case number they give in that letter.
