I have been reading some threads on MENA and seen where a form, DS-230 Part I is evidently supposed to be mailed to the consulate before the interview. When I received my email from them telling me what documents were required they did not tell me to mail any forms to them. And when my fiance received his packet 3, he did not mention any forms that were supposed to be mailed either. Does anyone know if any forms are to be mailed to them prior to the interview? Or do we take all the forms with us to the interview???

Send to the consulate:

2x DS 156, 2x DS 156k, 2x DS 230 Part I only, A copy of your passport biographic data.

I sended a double copy signed of each document. This is all you have to send, rest for the interview:

Take to the interview: Photo's 2x, I-134, Birth Certificate, Police Records, Marriage Cert. (If any) Evidence of relationship, Passport.

And maybe some helpfull information: To the medical, bring 2 photo's, vaccination passport. (A record of all the vaccinations your fiance had in her life) Passport, etc.

Good luck

(I am the beneficiary btw, the reason why they told YOU not to send anything is because your fiance needs to send it, not you.)

After sending all this you will recieve Package 4 with the interview date/medical instructions

Love is patient and kind;

it is not jealous or conceited or proud;

love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable;

love does not keep a record of wrongs;

love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth.

Love never gives up; and its faith, hope, and patience never fail.

Love is eternal.

Casablanca is very different from other consulates. I caution you to listen to what members with experience in dealing with this consulate tell you and confirm what you hear from members that have been through different consulates.

That being said... You do not mail anything in prior to the interview.

While this may be correct for the Netherlands, it is not for all consulates and specifically is not correct for Casablanca.

Follow the instructions you received in your packet. There are different procedures for different consulates and visa types. Procedure for a CR-1 in Casablanca differs from a K1 in Casablanca. Procedure for a K1 in Egypt differs from a K1 in Casablanca.
