So the Ivy League claim was made up?

Ivy league, as in top schools for the nation. As in, ranked in the top 50th in the world.

Yes there are other schools outside the US spook.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

spooks what about places like oxford and cambridge? aren't those the original ivy league schools?

I think the Ivy League shcools were founded by graduates from those two, but I don't think they are considered Ivy League.

So you went to top school, but not an Ivy League school? I know there are other schools besides here, but they aren't considered Ivy League.

Also remember, Aus schools don't have sports teams or sports scholarships. If you're not smart, you simply don't get in. Sports jocks on the other hand go to trade school. Then again uni has nowhere near the relevance or importance it has here.

Many there take on trades or open small businesses and are now making more money than the average college kid can even count. For all your hatred of Aus, you do realize small businesses are popular there. I bought my meat from a butcher store. Fruits and veggies from a Fruit shop. Cheese and from a Deli.

One of my friends owns a landscaping / lawn care business. Here you would laugh at that because people just hire illegals. Wrong, he takes home about $70K after expenses for himself, and has another two working for him; who also earn a decent wage.

Ivy League schools don't offer sports scholarships either. Their scholarships are need based only.

PS. I didn't know that. I only found out from reading what I went to look for a few mins ago.

Anyway, he lied when he said he went to an Ivy League school. He was boasting because he thought it would impress us.

He does not boast. If he says it then it's true. Australian Brussel Sprouts and spinach are much, much, MUCH better than American veggies.

So I guess every single person I have spoken to who has eaten outside the hard rock  when they have traveled there is lying too.

This must be similar to me 'lying' about Chicago vs Melbourne or Sydney. Are all of those studies I posted a lie too?

Yea, it's a well know fact that Australia produces the best tasting vegetable in the world. Maybe you could google it and post some type of graph or chart.
