If a man from Los Angeles, CA meets a woman in Ukraine, how long is the wait for a K-1 visa?

Is there a U.S. Gov't site where I can find the (current) approximate processing time, or is it better to use some of the examples on this website as a guide?

One example on this site suggests that eight months from the initial filing to the time when both are living together in California is an approximate time line.

Please feel free to share some links or personal experience to answer my question. If more info is needed, please ask.

Thank you!

Where you or your fiancee live makes little if any difference for the petition. Kiev is pretty fast about doing interviews so that makes a difference. For good measure figure 6-8 months from the time you file the petition until she arrives here.

Agreed. If you check out time lines for others over the recent past, I would guess at 6 to 8 months.Good luck.

Yup...Also take in consideration the time for AP (if your case goes to AP), sometimes it takes 2 days, sometimes 2 months.
