Honestly, I haven't seen him post anything "hateful", only seen a few questions posted. He's been immediately labeled a "troll", but I haven't seen any troll-like behaviour.

And I wouldn't consider comments about grammar to be "hate" either.... some of us have a really low tolerance for piss-poor grammar and can only avoid comment for so long. lol I've mostly kept it to myself though, considering the number of "English as a second language" people on this board. It's also one reason I don't use chatspeak. The other is that I think chatspeak is stupid, useless, and moronic. Not that I have strong opinions, or anything.... LOL

I didn't see that one. I'm talking about this thread. But not all countries are equal. Some have more Nobel prizes than others. Discussing the difference is racist?

Grammar actually - based on the fact that the OP is has and continues to post racialist and highly inflammatory threads with a clear view to ostracising and offending members of this community who share a certain religious and ethnic persuasion. He's a troll pure and simple - the fact that he ducks and runs after starting these threads rather than actually participate in them (other to throw in smug one-liners) is indicative of the fact that he's a gutless coward, as I've said before.

Before anyone goes there, this is by no means an attention-seeking thread. I don't want people to beg me to stay.

I've become quite fed up with all of the attacks in the ME/NA forum. It has gotten out of hand. For someone to come and post a cartoon of Mohammed in a thread we had going to show our support for a fellow ME/NA member is abhorrent. And I am not even Muslim.

I am fortunate to not have to experience this type of bigotry in our day-to-day life. That's one of the reasons we chose to live in Cambridge, MA (a very liberal town).

I would try to just ignore it all, but I can't help but be upset every time I read the offensive comments. It's no longer a debate, it's outright attacks and they are very hurtful. People can be so brazen from behind their little computer screens. Call me oversensitive if you will, but the sort of racism I'm finding here just hurts my heart.

It's becoming less and less "worth it" to be a member here. So unless something changes, I think I'll be finding a support group that doesn't allow this.
