Confused :EAD card production ordred or pending???

hi all,

im confused i applied for AOS from B2 VISA. filed my papers on April 24.Received all three NOAS . did my finger printing. Received mail to send RFE. Replied. Now on OCT6 I get mail saying:

Application Type: I765 , APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On October 5, 2009, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

. Next day i get mail saying:Application Type: I765 , APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Current Status: Case reopened or reconsidered based on USCIS determination, and the case is now pending.

We reopened this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION on October 7, 2009, and are now reviewing our earlier decision. We also mailed you a notice describing the next steps in the process. Please follow any instructions on this notice. Our review should be completed within 30 days. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

SOOO, should i be expecting my EAD Card in the mail expecting another RFE letter???

if anybody has any experience with such such confusing mails , please help me,

It sounds like they decided their original decision to approve the EAD was a bit hasty and they are going over the file again for whatever reason. It doesn't sound like you should expect your card in the mail or anything in the mail on this case at this time.

It sound like you just have to wait for the notice they sent you, which should take about 5 days, I'm sorry PS I can't believe you haven't gotten your GC yet, it's been 6 months since you applied. How long did it take you to respond to RFE?

Yes i hope to receive their letter in 5 days this time . Last time they emailed me that they have sent a letter , on May 27, i received it in my mailbox on June 17.

I sent the reply in the next couple of weeks, needed to get the tax papers and Oct 6 is the first time i get any communication from USCIS.I know its going slow, i dont mind it just that i need the EAD card to get my drivers license, im driving on my Indian drivers license, looking over my shoulder all the time ,hope i dont get pulled over.
